Info & Reservations

Our 2 tank boat dive departs daily from Honokohau Marina and small boat Harbor just 2 miles north of Kailua-Kona.  Directions to the meeting site are below.

Meeting Time: Our meeting time is 7:30 am.  We return around 1:00 pm.

Dive Sites: Our dive sites for the day are determined on the morning of the dive based on the interests of our divers and the days weather conditions. 

Night Dives:  Summer months it is likely you can find us diving at the manta ray dive site one night a week.  However in the winter, we prefer to do a non manta dive at a dive site that is ideal for the days winter conditions.  T-T-Tuesdays are our night dive nights.  A two tank morning dive followed by a one tank night dive is just $200.  That"s Three tanks, Tuesday, Two hundred bucks!  Thus the T-T-T and it's only on Tuesdays.   If you don't have time for the morning dive that day, enjoy the one tank night dive for $98.  Konas reef at night is awe-inspiring!

Dive Equipment: Our quality dive equipment can be rented for the day if needed.  We have masks, fins, snorkels, BC's, regulators, computers, 3mm full wetsuits or 3mm shorties depending on sizes needed.  Water temp. varies from 72 degrees in winter months to 82 degrees in summer.

Beverages and Snacks: Water, juice, cookies, crackers, fresh fruit and of course homemade brownies (need you even ask?) are provided.

3 tank dives, long range dives, manta ray night dives, Discover Scuba diving, PADI courses are available on request.  Please contact us for more information.  (minimum number of divers may be required for some activities)


Directions to the marina:

From Kailua-Kona: Follow Queen K (Hwy 11/19) north toward the airport. Approx.. 2 miles north of Kailua-Kona at the stop light you will see a sign that says "Honokohau Marina and Small Boat Harbor" Turn Left into the marina. Take the first right hand turn and follow this road until it dead ends into a big parking lot. There are two buildings in the lot one is the Kona Sailing Club the other is the public restroom bldg. We will meet you near the public restroom. The boat will still be up on the trailer. It says "Pacific Rim Divers" on the side of the boat.  Meeting time is 7:30 am.  Plan ahead for traffic.
